You will soon be closing on your new Taber home! If you have questions about what to do or where to go, never fear. We have you covered for it all. Below are answers to frequently asked questions during the closing process. If you don't see what you are looking for below, please reach out to us or your lender to get your answer.

Where will the closing occur?

Closings are held at the Homes by Taber office, which is located at: 305 W Memorial Rd, Suite A-1, Oklahoma City, OK 73114

Suite A-1 is the door on the east side of the building.

What forms of payment are accepted at closing?

You can bring a cashier's check made payable to Oklahoma City Abstract or you can request wiring instructions. You will need to confirm wiring instructions with Oklahoma City Abstract by calling 405-348-8605.

How do I know the amount to bring to closing?

1. If you are financing, the amount of money to bring to closing will come from your lender. See Also, Forms of Payment.
2. If you are paying cash, a Homes by Taber representative will send you a copy of your settlement statement from the title company about a week prior to your closing date. The settlement statement will include the amount of money to bring to close, which will be paid in the form of a cashier's check or a wire. See Also, Forms of Payment.

Is there anything else I need to bring to my closing appointment?

Each homebuyer will need to bring two (2) valid forms of ID to closing.

How long should I expect my closing appointment to take?

Typically, closings last around 45 minutes to 1 hour.

When do I get my keys to my new Taber home?

Keys will be handed over once all paperwork has been finalized and the file has been fully funded at closing.

We see pictures on social media during closings. Will we get that opportunity?

Absolutely! We have many fun backgrounds and props to celebrate this monumental time in your life. Please feel free to take as many pictures as you would like.
